Last week, while I was picking up a tree that fell over on my roof deck, I threw out my back. And it hurt. Like bad.
Since I have no health insurance (note to self: send those assholes at the Freelancer’s Union the rest of your insurance application!) I had to go the WebMD route of treatment, which suggested that I lie on my back or side for 2 weeks to 2 months. I’ve been pretty much bed-bound for the past week and I am really happy that I work from home because even sitting in chair is pretty painful.
Anyways, here is the point: Not being able to do anything fun makes you look at a lot of blogs. So here is a list of the odd mishmash of blogs and websites that I have been obsessed with (other than the usual 6 or 7 I check every 5 minutes):
Melissa C. Morris: A preppy monied lady with good intentions and absolutely zero snark blogs about her puppy and other random fancy things in her life. I don’t know why I like her so much.
Ask Andy About Clothes Forum: Good gravy I have no idea why or how I stumbled upon this thing, or why I checked it so often this weekend, but, eh, whatever. Mock me. It is a forum about men’s clothes, specifically “trad” clothes. Embarrassing.
Lurid Digs (so NSFW!): Amateur gay interiors taken from cruiser profiles on Manhunt or whatever that dressed apart by some funny gents. Well, duh, of course I would love this one.
Being sick really leads to some odd internet browsing, eh?
