Oh, I also canned tomatoes yesterday. It was my first time canning tomatoes and I learned that roughly 1,000 tomatoes will only yield you 2 quarts of canned tomatoes.

However, the experience has put me on a canning craze. I am planning on canning some salsa and homemade ketchup next weekend.
